Laboratory Facilities @ MAMSE

The department of computer science and engineering is equipped with one hundred and twenty six Lenovo & HP systems with Core-2 Duo Processor @ 2.9 GHz Speed.The total investment amounts to Rs 35.35 lakhs. In addition to the computers the laboratory also has printers, scanners and other peripherals. The total area for computer laboratory is 2154 square ft.

Circuit and devices laboratory has been set up with an investment of Rs 3 lakhs in a area 810 square ft. The major instruments in circuit and devices laboratory are CRO, function generators and power supplies.

An electrical and electronics engineering practice laboratory was set up for doing basic experiments for the first year students at a cost of 1.5 lakhs.

Order has been issued for Rs 35 lakhs to set up a state of the art electrical machines laboratory in an area 2424 square ft.

A basic mechanical workshopfacilitiesconsisting of lathe, drilling machines welding machines, fitting, carpentry and plumbing accessories was established in area of 3662 square ft.

Fluid mechanics laboratory is being planned to set up in area of 2262 square ft and order has been placed to procure equipments worth of Rs 7 lakhs.

The physics laboratory was established in an area of 1,724 square ft with an investment of Rs 4.85 lakhs. The major equipments include ultrasonic interfero meter, spectrometer, travelling microscope, laser diode, hysteresis apparatus etc.

The Chemistry laboratory was established in an area of 1,724 square ft with an investment of Rs 6.35 lakhs. The Chemistry Laboratory is fully furnished with the equipments like de-ionizer, digital conductivity meter, digital potentiometer, digital pH meter, and hot plate, hot air oven, electric top loading balance, and visible spectrophotometer.
